This Greco PB-500 dates to December 1976 by its neck plate serial (L763157) and was crafted during the so-called lawsuit era, when Japanese makers were building faithful reproductions of classic American designs.

The body, neck and pickguard are all left-handed, so this is a lefty-built instrument, not a converted righty. It has a 1-piece maple neck with a walnut skunk stripe, Greco-logo open-gear tuners, and a split-coil P pickup, giving it the classic Precision layout and look. Left-handed Japan Vintage basses from this period come up far less often than right-handed examples.

== SPECIFICATIONS ==
- Model: Greco PB-500 (Precision Bass model)
- Year: 1976 (serial L763157, neck plate)
- Country of Origin: Japan (MADE IN JAPAN stamped on neck plate)
- Orientation: Left-Handed
- Color: Black
- Neck: 1-piece maple, bolt-on, walnut skunk stripe (heel-adjust truss rod)
- Fingerboard: Maple, black dot inlays
- Scale: 34" (long scale)
- Pickups: Split-coil P-style pickup x1
- Controls: Volume, Tone
- Tuners: Open-gear, clover keys, Greco logo on each plate
- Hardware: Chrome bridge cover, finger rest
- Weight: 4.1 kg (approx. 9.0 lbs)

== CONDITION ==
Overall: Good

- Body: Honest playwear consistent with age; scratches/chip near the neck joint
- Neck: Straight
- Frets: Approximately 60-70% remaining
- Hardware: Rust on metal parts (vintage patina)

All electronics function correctly.
