It features the open-book headstock, a bell-shaped "Standard" truss rod cover and a semi-hollow body.

The serial number J776310 on the back of the headstock decodes in Greco's month-letter format as October 1977 (J = October, 77 = 1977). The pickup back is stamped "17924", which reads as a September 1977 date code and matches the guitar's serial date. The body has an internal hollow (semi-hollow construction). The guitar carries no model sticker or model stamp, so it is listed here as an EG Series Standard type.

== SPECIFICATIONS ==
- Brand: Greco
- Model: EG Series (Les Paul Standard type, semi-hollow)
- Year: 1977 (October, per serial J776310)
- Country of Origin: Japan
- Color: Brown Sunburst
- Body: Semi-hollow (internal hollow confirmed)
- Neck: Set neck
- Fingerboard: Bound, trapezoid inlays
- Headstock: Open-book style with "Standard" truss rod cover
- Pickups: Two covered humbuckers (pickup back stamped 17924)
- Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone
- Switch: 3-way toggle (Rhythm/Treble)
- Bridge: Tune-o-matic style bridge with stop tailpiece
- Tuners: Greco Guitar branded enclosed tuners
- Weight: 3.75 kg (approx. 8.3 lbs)

== CONDITION ==
Overall: Very Good

- Body: Clean for its age, with relatively few scratches
- Neck: Straight
- Frets: Approximately 70-80% remaining
- Hardware: No noticeable rust
- Electronics: The volume and tone pots have some crackle (scratchy pots).
