Its signature feature is the rotating (swivel) neck pickup. It mounts on two screws inside a cutout in the pickguard, so the player can turn it and change its angle under the strings.

Guyatone introduced the LG-120T on the Japanese domestic market in 1966, and it stayed in production for only a short time. Few examples come up for sale today. Besides the swivel pickup, it has an offset body, three pickups, two slide switches labeled COOL/HOT and SOLO/RHYTHM, and a vibrato tailpiece. It is a true piece of 1960s Japanese guitar history. This example carries serial number 6108482, close to other documented 1966-1967 LG-120Ts.

== SPECIFICATIONS ==
- Model: Guyatone LG-120T
- Year: c.1966-1967
- Country of Origin: Japan
- Serial Number: 6108482 (neck plate)
- Color: Metallic Red
- Body: Solid body, offset shape
- Neck: Bolt-on, 4-bolt neck plate
- Fingerboard: Unbound, teardrop-shaped position markers
- Pickups: Three pickups with cream covers; swivel-mounted neck pickup
- Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone
- Switches: Two slide switches (COOL/HOT, SOLO/RHYTHM)
- Bridge: Adjustable bridge with vibrato tailpiece
- Tuners: Replaced with locking-type machine heads
- Weight: 3.3 kg (approx. 7.3 lbs)

== CONDITION ==
Overall: Good

- Body: Honest playwear consistent with age, including scratches, rubbing and finish clouding
- Neck: Straight
- Frets: Approximately 60-70% remaining
- Hardware: Tarnish on metal parts (vintage patina)
- Tuners: Replaced with locking-type machine heads (original screw holes remain visible on the headstock)

All electronics function correctly.
