This model was built at the renowned Matsumoku factory, known for its high-quality craftsmanship during the late 1970s.
Model Background
The PB-400 is Aria Pro II’s Precision Bass–style model, designed to capture the classic feel and tone of vintage Precision Basses.
Instruments from this period are well regarded for their solid construction and careful workmanship by Matsumoku craftsmen.
Sound and Playability
The bass features a Sen wood body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard, delivering a warm, punchy, old-school Precision Bass–style tone.
It offers a strong fundamental low end with a clear attack, characteristic of late-1970s Japanese-built PB models.
