Up for sale is a vintage 1978 Aria Pro II ST-400 (Stagecaster) electric guitar, made in Japan at the legendary Matsumoku factory. The Matsumoku-made Aria Pro II guitars from the late 1970s are highly regarded for their build quality and are highly sought after by "Japan Vintage" collectors.
This guitar features a classic large headstock design, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, and a 3-single-coil pickup configuration.
Please read carefully: This guitar is being sold strictly "AS-IS" as a project or repair base.
Condition & Issues (Please review all photos):
•Electronics: The neck (front) pickup does not produce sound. This could be due to a dead pickup, a faulty selector switch, or a disconnected wire. The guitar has not been opened or inspected internally.
•Maintenance: The guitar is sold exactly as we received it. It has not been cleaned, set up, or serviced.
•Hardware: Metal parts show tarnishing and oxidation typical of a guitar this age.
•Cosmetics: The body has scratches, dings, and signs of playwear throughout.
•Neck & Frets: The neck is straight. Frets have about 60-70% life remaining.
•Sale Terms: Because of the non-functioning neck pickup and unserviced condition, this instrument is strictly sold AS-IS for parts or repair. No returns will be accepted based on the conditions described here.
