Product Description
This is a Fender Japan '62 Precision Bass reissue model, PB62-55L — a rare
left-handed
version made by Fujigen in 1989-1990, based on the serial number.
It features a basswood body, maple neck, and a slab rosewood fingerboard.
There are some dings and marks on the body, but nothing that affects playability.
The pickguard appears to have been replaced with a white 1-ply version.
Also, please note that when the volume knob is turned all the way down, the sound does not completely cut off.
There's a small mark where a strap pin was previously installed on the opposite side.
The neck is straight, and the frets have approximately 60-70% life remaining.
Left-handed models from the Fujigen era are especially hard to come by and highly sought after.
The bass weighs a comfortable 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs), making it easy to handle.
