, this model delivers a warm, rich midrange tone with excellent clarity and punch.
While Fender currently offers ash-bodied Thinline models, the
mahogany body version is rare
, appearing occasionally as part of FSR (Factory Special Run) series models.
Thanks to its strong midrange response, the tone retains fullness even on single notes — making it ideal not only for funk-style comping but also for soloing and vocal-accompaniment styles.
There are a few small dings on the body, but no major damage that affects playability.
The neck is straight, and the frets have plenty of life left.
