1981 Greco SE600J Jeff Beck model
, crafted during the golden age of Greco. Built in 1981 at the legendary
Fujigen factory
—the very same builder that went on to produce Fender Japan instruments starting in 1982—this guitar sits in a position remarkably close to the sought-after
Fender JV era
models.
Cosmetically, the instrument shows plenty of honest playwear: scratches, finish checking, tarnish on the hardware, and general signs of use. Despite this, it remains a solid and playable vintage guitar.

3-piece Sen body with lacquer finish
,
maple neck with a 1960s-style flat rosewood fingerboard
, and a unique control layout with
three mini switches
that allow pickup selection, humbucker sounds, and phase options—this Greco delivers a wide range of tonal possibilities.

The neck is straight. Frets show wear, with approximately 60-70% remaining. There are some dents in the lower frets and a noticeable mark near the 1st fret on the fingerboard. The headstock shows discoloration and surface cracks, though none penetrate deeply into the wood.
There is a small screw hole near the neck end (purpose unknown), and the back panel is missing.
While it plays well as-is, due to the cosmetic condition we are offering this piece at a special price.
