Tokai TST-50BB
, a Japanese-made Stratocaster model from the late 1980s.
Featuring an
alder body

, this model showcases Tokai's high level of craftsmanship—so renowned that the brand was once called
"the best copy maker in the world."
In the early 1980s, Tokai transitioned from the
"ST" series
to the
"Goldstar Sound"
line, updating both the
headstock logo
and
branding
to avoid legal issues with Fender.
Based on the body cavity stamp, this particular guitar was likely made in
1987
.
Compared to earlier ST models, the TST-50 series was built with even more accurate vintage specs, delivering excellent tone and feel.
