Tokai 1948 Telecaster Reissue Model TE-80 (Made in Japan, 1983)

This is a Tokai TE-80, the 1948 Telecaster reissue model. Based on the serial number, it was built in 1983, featuring the spaghetti logo on the headstock before Tokai changed it in 1984.

The guitar faithfully recreates the traditional details of the original 1948 Telecaster, with meticulous attention to vintage specifications:

• Body: 2-piece solid Alder, carved, finished in lacquer

• Neck: 1-piece Maple, Old V-shape profile

• Pickguard: 1-ply Bakelite

• Tailpiece & Bridge: Old-style with brass saddles

• Hardware: All screws are vintage-style flathead

• Pickups: Tokai TE Vintage pickups – delivering the authentic vintage Telecaster sound

Condition:

• Large paint chip/finish wear on the lower body (see photos for details)

• Other minor scratches and wear, but no issues affecting playability

• Neck is in excellent condition; frets approx. 60% remain, no buzzing or dead spots

• All parts appear to be original

• Weight: 3.3 kg

• Original Tokai vintage hard case from the spaghetti-logo era (very rare).
  The case shows some exterior wear but is fully functional for regular use.
