This is a 1981 Tokai Silver Star, crafted in Japan by Tokai Gakki at their own factory in Hamamatsu. It has the 70s-style large headstock with a bullet truss rod, a maple neck with a maple fingerboard, and a black finish with a white pickguard. It is an honest, player-grade piece of MIJ history.
