1986 Fernandes JS-110 "Limited Edition" Rhoads-Style V - MIJ
A Japanese-made Fernandes JS-110 from the Limited Edition series - an offset V built in the mold of the Jackson Rhoads, and the top grade of the JS family. Fernandes listed the JS-110 alongside the JS-90 in the 1986 catalog only, returning to the single JS-100 model from 1987 onward, which makes this the scarcest of the three siblings.
Construction is a soft maple body with a set-in maple neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard with sharkfin inlays, and a 25.5" scale. The headstock wears the black "Fernandes / Limited Edition / Electric Sound Research Group" decal with cream binding and a locking nut, and the body carries the brass control plate that has taken on a deep vintage patina. The tremolo fitted to this example has a base plate marked Floyd Rose. Player-grade 1980s Japanese build quality, crafted during the golden age of MIJ manufacturing.
