1994 Fender Jazz Bass - Made in Mexico (MIM) Ensenada - Torino Red
A solid early-period Mexican Fender Jazz Bass from the second
generation of Ensenada production, dating to 1994 (serial MN402567).
Fender opened the Ensenada factory in 1990 and these early MN-series
basses are now over 30 years old, offering an alternative path into
the Fender Jazz Bass world for players who appreciate honest,
gigged-in instruments with character.
This bass has clearly seen real-world use - it's a working musician's
tool rather than a closet queen, with a road-worn vibe that many
players actively seek out. The Torino Red finish has developed light
checking and pickwear in places, and a tortoise pickguard has been
fitted in place of the original, giving it a sharp, classic look
against the red body.

== WHY THIS BASS ==
Early-90s MIM Fenders are increasingly recognized as their own thing
- not USA, not Squier, but their own breed of Ensenada-built workhorse.
This one comes with the kind of organic wear that can't be faked, plus
the slightly heftier neck profile typical of mid-90s MIM production.
A great option for a backup gig bass, a recording tone, or a player
who wants a Fender J with a story to tell.
