2005 Edwards E-ALEXI Sawtooth "Alexi Laiho Signature" - Black with White Pinstripe, Japan
A Japanese-market Edwards build of the Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) signature V. Edwards is ESP's domestic-market line, and the Alexi models follow the ESP originals closely: a neck-thru alder body, ebony fingerboard with the distinctive sawtooth inlays, and a Floyd Rose locking tremolo.
This example carries serial ED0548407. Edwards uses an "ED + two-digit year" serial format on the back of the headstock, which places this guitar in 2005. The deep treble-side cutaway and neck-thru joint give unobstructed access to the top of the 24-fret board, and the offset V body keeps the guitar balanced when played seated or standing.
