This is a 2016 Epiphone EJ-200SCE/VS, a cutaway acoustic-electric tribute to Gibson's "King of the Flat Tops," the legendary SJ-200. The Vintage Sunburst finish, gold Grover tuners, mustache bridge, and tortoise-style floral pickguard deliver the iconic J-200 look at a fraction of the original's cost.
Inspired by a design first introduced in 1937, the EJ-200SCE/VS pairs a solid spruce top with select maple back and sides for the bold, balanced jumbo voice the J-200 line is known for. The graceful Florentine cutaway opens up the upper register for soloing, and the onboard Shadow NanoFlex + NanoMag dual pickup system, driven by the eSonic2 preamp, captures the guitar's natural acoustic tone for the stage.
