2010s BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus "Dark Gray Label" - Stereo Chorus, Made in Taiwan
A BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus from the dark gray label period, in excellent condition with its box and owner's manual. The CH-1 combines the classic BOSS compact chorus with a dedicated EQ control and stereo outputs, so the chorus can be tuned from soft and mellow to bright and cutting, and run to one or two amps.
The CH-1 was introduced in 1989. Early units carried a blue (later pink) bottom label and used an analog BBD circuit. Around 2001 the pedal was revised to a digital chorus circuit and moved to the dark gray bottom label. This example has the dark gray label, the "Made in Taiwan" marking and the BOSS PSA adaptor sticker. Its serial number uses the format BOSS introduced in late 2010, and the label shows the Hamamatsu Kita-ku address, which places it in the 2010s.

== WHY THIS PEDAL ==
Next to the simpler CE-series choruses, the CH-1 adds an EQ knob and a separate effect level control, so it can do anything from subtle thickening to deep, vibrato-like swirl. The stereo outputs let you run a wide two-amp spread. A clean, boxed example of a long-running BOSS standard that is easy to use on any pedalboard.
