A Japanese-made Fernandes FRB-45 in the scarce left-handed configuration. Left-handed examples of Japanese-built basses from this era seldom come to market, and this one is a straightforward, honest player's instrument with genuine playwear.
The FRB line was Fernandes' standard Japanese bass series, built around the classic P/J pickup layout. This example carries Gotoh tuners stamped MADE IN JAPAN, a four-saddle bridge stamped FERNANDES, and a Fernandes-stamped neck plate - all consistent with domestic Japanese production.
