1995-2002 Greco GV-90MH Flying V - Mahogany Neck-Through, Made in Japan
A genuine Japanese-built Flying V from Greco's GV-90 series, built with a neck-through-body construction that places it well above the usual bolt-on and set-neck V copies of the era. The GV-90 line appears in Greco's late-1990s catalog and is rarely seen on the market today, and this MH (mahogany body) variant is scarcer still.
The centre laminate runs the full length of the instrument from headstock to body point, flanked by a pair of mahogany wings finished in a warm brown stain. The contrast between the dark wings and the lighter natural centre section is visible on both the front and the back. Gold hardware and a set of pearloid-button tuners round out the appointments, and at 3.3 kg this is a genuinely manageable V rather than a neck-heavy handful.
