A Japan-built fretless Jazz Bass from Fender's Made in Japan Traditional line. Based on the Traditional 60s Jazz Bass platform, this limited-run variant drops the pickguard and swaps the fretted neck for a rosewood fretless fingerboard - a clean, purposeful look that fretless players know well.
The serial number JD20009147 on the back of the headstock dates this instrument to 2020, and the factory stamp "TH60JB FL" in the neck pocket confirms the fretless Traditional 60s Jazz Bass specification. The 9.5" fingerboard radius and "U" shaped maple neck give it a classic, easy playing feel, while the two vintage-style single coils and 4-saddle vintage-style bridge cover familiar Jazz Bass territory with the smooth, vocal response only a fretless board delivers.
