Yamaha SA2200 — Made in Japan Semi-Hollow, Brown Sunburst with Flame Maple
The SA2200 is the flagship of Yamaha's long-running SA (Semi-Acoustic) line — a
Made-in-Japan semi-hollow that many players rank alongside, and often above,
far pricier 335-style instruments for fit, finish, and playability. This
example is in near-mint, try-out-only condition and comes with a Yamaha hard case.
Built in Japan to Yamaha's top hollow-body spec: a flame maple top over a
semi-hollow body with a solid center block, a set mahogany neck, and a bound
ebony fingerboard with pearl split-block inlays. Gold hardware throughout, a
pair of Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers, and the "bi-sound" push-pull coil-split
system deliver both classic humbucking warmth and single-coil sparkle.
